This is the first time this book is made completely accessible on the WWW. It was scanned from the original manuscript which was a great deal of work due to the suboptimal printing quality. There are discussions about the truth of the facts given in this book. Our opinion is that most facts have their basis in reality but that you have to smooth out some of the extremities. The waistlines given seem to be the sizes of the corsets when not worn, not the size measured round the laced corset. We wish you fun and pleasure reading the book.
